ABU DHABI CITY TOUR
Overview
Embark on a captivating journey to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, situated on an island connected to the mainland by two iconic bridges. The drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Along the way, we’ll pass by Jebel Ali Port – the largest man-made port in the world.
Upon arriving in Abu Dhabi, our first stop will be the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the eighth-largest mosque in the world and a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. We will then visit the Heritage Village, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich cultural past.
Next, enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful Corniche, where you’ll have the opportunity to capture stunning views of the city skyline and Breakwater Island. We’ll continue with a visit to the luxurious Emirates Palace and a drive through the Presidential Palace area.
Our tour includes a stop at Marina Mall for lunch, followed by visits to the Dates Market and Carpet Market—perfect places to pick up traditional souvenirs. To conclude the tour, we’ll drive through the vibrant Yas Island, with a photo stop at the world-famous Ferrari World.

Our team is available around the clock to help you plan every detail of your perfect UAE experience.
What attractions are covered?
A standard Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai includes Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace (photo stop), the Corniche and high-rises, and the Qasr Al Watan (Presidential Palace) or Heritage Village. Many tours also stop at the famous Falcon Hospital or Yas Island (to view Ferrari World or Yas Marina) if time permits. Most importantly, it always includes entry into the majestic Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
How long is the tour and is transport included?
Abu Dhabi tours are longer (around 7–8 hours total) because of the ~1.5 h drive each way from Dubai. Hotel pickup (in Dubai) is provided. The tour usually starts early morning and returns by evening. A guide leads the trip. Expect about 2–3 hours in Abu Dhabi itself, plus transit time.
What is the dress code for the mosque?
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque has strict modest dress rules. Men should wear long pants and sleeved shirts; women must wear long sleeves, pants or skirts, and a headscarf (abaya and hijab). If you don’t have an abaya/scarf, tour companies often provide a simple gown and head covering at the mosque entrance. Always remove shoes before entering the mosque.
Are meals or snacks provided?
Transport and guide are included, but lunch and drinks are usually not. Many tours stop for lunch at a mid-range restaurant in Abu Dhabi (cost not included in tour price). Bring some snacks or money for lunch. Water is a good idea (though your guide may offer bottled water).
How much time do we spend at the mosque?
The tour includes guided access inside Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Visitors typically spend 30–60 minutes there, enough to tour the main hall and courtyard. Photography is allowed. The mosque’s grandeur is often the highlight, so budget that time in the itinerary.
