Your journey starts with convenient pick-up from your location in a comfortable 4×4, followed  by a thrilling drive to the dunes. Enjoy dune bashing, camel riding, sandboarding, ATV/UTV  add-ons, and plenty of stunning photo stops. At our traditional desert camp, relax with  welcome drinks, unlimited refreshments, live entertainment shows, and a delicious BBQ  dinner. 

After the evening activities, your adventure continues as you stay overnight in the heart of the  desert. Enjoy a peaceful night with a warm bonfire, perfect for stargazing and creating  unforgettable memories. Comfortable sleeping arrangements are provided for a relaxing 

night’s rest.

What is an overnight desert safari?

An overnight safari extends the adventure into the night (usually ~16–18 hours total). It includes all evening safari activities (dune bashing, dinner, cultural shows) plus a night spent camping in the desert. Guests sleep on comfortable mats or beds in a Bedouin-style camp under the stars, then wake to a morning desert and usually a breakfast.

You get hotel pickup, dune bashing, camel riding, a BBQ dinner, and live shows. After dinner, the camp has sleeping arrangements (mattresses, sheets, possibly tents) for guests to rest. In the morning there’s a buffet breakfast before you return. Soft drinks, water, and snacks (tea/coffee) are typically unlimited throughout.



A well-run overnight safari provides basic comforts: shaded tents or camp structures, bedding (mattresses, pillows, blankets), and onsite toilets. Many premium camps even offer sheltered outdoor or portable toilets. There is usually no shower, but potable water and handwashing stations are available. The focus is on an authentic (but not rough) camping experience.

Often yes! Many operators set up open-air sleeping areas with mattress pads and blankets on the sand. You can usually see the desert sky—on a clear night you may even stargaze. If you prefer more shelter, some tours offer Bedouin-style tents or cabins. Confirm the setup when booking.

Yes, an overnight safari always ends with a desert breakfast. Expect a buffet of omelets, fruits, bread, and tea/coffee in the camp. After breakfast, you’ll be driven back to your hotel by around 9–10 AM. This breakfast is generally included in the overnight package price.
